Further the concept of satellite dairy farming has to be adopted so as to improve the socio- economic conditions of marginal and poor farmers in that area. The number of cattle at the Gannaur dairy farm has grown manifolds. Artificial Insemination has helped out in getting more milk yielding cows. The cows are kept in open, free environment and large cow-sheds are used by them for resting in between.

We have our own milking machines and the hygiene for the cattle is of our utmost concern. We have a highly qualified team of veterinary doctors who are permanently stationed at the dairy farm to look after the cattle. These doctors provide diagnostic as well as treatment services to the pregnant cattle and new born calves with high and priority based care.

The milk is chilled and pasteurized at our own chilling plant, there itself. So, the quality of our produce (milk) is kept at maximum standard.

The milk produced have been catered to various big companies in the market like Nestle, Vita, Haldiram etc. in a span of 12 successful years. The credibility generated in the market by the high quality of our milk has made us one of the highest milk price fetchers in the area. Hence, the profitability of the project and turnover of the project has improved a lot. We received international certification of ISO: 9001 as well as of HACCP, which guarantees our credibility in the world market.

We are going to launch our own milk processing plant very soon, where from we would be producing world class cheese, butter, curd and other processed dairy products.

HBN’s Gannaur dairy farm unit is further progressing by leaps and bounds and it is hoped that in the years to come, it will achieve more exemplary results and will help improve the social and economic condition of the people at large.
